camille thumb bioCamille is Director of the Public Benefits Unit at NYLAG, which works to ensure that low-income families, children, the elderly, those with disabilities, and other vulnerable populations have access to the public benefits to which they are entitled, including public assistance, SNAP benefits, Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security Disability Insurance, and Supplemental Security Income. Camille was previously a supervising attorney in the General Legal Services Unit; she originally joined NYLAG as a Skadden Fellow to implement a project that focused on the intersection of mental disability law and public benefits. Prior to NYLAG, Camille clerked in the Southern District of New York for United States Magistrate Judge Michael H. Dolinger. Camille is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Brooklyn Law School.
