Emily is a staff attorney with the Tenants’ Rights Unit, where she represents low-income tenants in housing court and administrative proceedings.  She also advises tenants at Single Stop sites and those whom are referred to NYLAG by community-based organizations.  Prior to joining NYLAG, Emily worked at a small, private firm where she primarily handled trusts and estates matters.  Emily graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, received a Master of Arts degree from Villanova University, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware.
