Judith Munoz, Pro Bono Manager, Pro Bono & Volunteer Department

Judith Munoz is NYLAG’s Pro Bono Manager. In this capacity, Judith coordinates the recruitment of volunteer attorneys from law firms and corporate legal departments to represent NYLAG clients. Judith has broad experience working in the public sector. As a law student, she held positions with the Civil Rights Division at the U.S. Department of Justice, the Legal Aid Society, and was competitively selected to serve as a full-time judicial intern to a federal district court judge. Judith spent her years prior to law school developing and running a pro bono appeals project at the Medicare Rights Center, in addition to working as a teacher in Ecuador. Judith is a graduate of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she was selected as a Cardozo Public Service Scholar, and Brown University.
