Maria Hunter is the Supervising Attorney of the Elder Law Practice in the Public Benefits Unit where she advises and represents senior clients on issues regarding access to public benefits and advance life planning, with a focus on health care access and long term care, as well as the drafting of Last Wills, Powers of Attorney and medical advanced directives. Before working at NYLAG, she interned at the Greater Boston Legal Services. Maria received her J.D. from the New York University School of Law and she attended Cornell University and Brandeis University for her undergraduate studies.
