Mira is a paralegal in NYLAG’s Mobile Legal Help Center where she assists clients and staff on a variety of legal matters, including but not limited to tenants’ rights, family law, and public benefits issues. She also provides translation assistance with Spanish speaking clients. Prior to joining NYLAG, she worked as a case manager at Universal Genetics assisting individuals filing USCIS I-130 petitions for their relatives abroad. Before moving to New York, she taught English for two years at United International College in Guangdong, China. Mira is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara where she studied Global & International Relations with an emphasis in East Asia.
