Michael is a staff attorney in the Tenants’ Rights Unit, where he represents tenants in Queens Housing Court and administrative proceedings. While in law school, he interned at Legal Services NYC-Bronx, the Federal Trade Commission, and NYLAG. After graduating from law school, he worked as a legal fellow at the California Lawyers for the Arts before returning to New York, where he participated in the Civil Legal Advice and Resource Office (CLARO) in Brooklyn and the Volunteer Lawyer for the Day (VLFD) Consumer Debt Program in Queens and the Bronx. Michael received his undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley and his JD from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
