Rachel is a staff attorney in the Matrimonial and Family Law Unit at NYLAG. Rachel represents survivors of domestic violence in Family and Supreme Court in cases involving divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, visitation and family offenses, as well as collateral issues such as immigration. Prior to joining NYLAG, Rachel was a Staff Attorney at the House of Ruth Maryland where she represented Domestic Violence victims in District and Circuit Court. Her work there included advocating for her clients on issues of restraining orders, custody, and child support. Following law school, Rachel worked for a boutique immigration law firm where she worked on a variety of immigration law cases, including matters of asylum, permanent residency and visa applications, SIJS and removal proceedings. Rachel received her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law where she was a member of the Law School Moot Court Board and participated in the Civil Justice Clinic, representing indigent clients in civil court matters. Rachel graduated from the University of Pennsylvania where she double majored in Psychology and Classical Studies.
