Why Give?
At NYLAG, we advocate for our clients, explaining to judges and opposing counsel why trauma reactions can show up in ways we don’t always expect and should not deem a survivor not credible. And we continue to strengthen our efforts to provide trauma-informed legal representation because we believe that access to trauma-informed representation is crucial for our clients’ paths towards self-determination, safety, and security.
