What is a Donor-Advised Fund?
A donor-advised fund, or “DAF”, is a charitable giving vehicle that allows you to make a tax-deductible contribution, grow your donation through investments, and recommend grants to qualified nonprofit organizations like NYLAG over time. With your DAF, you can ensure that families facing eviction, survivors of domestic violence, immigrants pursuing a better life, the elderly, individuals with disabilities, and countless others have a fighting chance in the legal system.
