Lauren is the Associate Director of the Immigrant Protection Unit. She has over a decade of practice in immigration law, more than 8 of which have been here at NYLAG, where she has focused on removal defense and emergent needs. She has also been closely involved in expanding IPU’s community-led programming to respond to the needs of our newest New Yorkers. Lauren oversees onboarding and training programs for all IPU staff to ensure uniformity of practice and adequate support for her team.

Lauren is also an Adjunct Professor at Brooklyn Law School, where she co-teaches a clinic focused on removal defense.
