Michelle Spadafore is the Senior Supervising Attorney and Project Director of NYLAG’s Disability Advocacy Project. She previously worked at the AIDS Center of Queens County, a community-based nonprofit organization that provides services to people living with HIV/AIDS. Her background includes Social Security law, access to public benefits, and consumer credit issues. She has been involved in a number of impact litigation cases focused on improving SSA’s handling of non-disability appeals including Amin v. Kijakazi, Ershteyn v. Berryhill, and Campos v. Kijakazi.
