Sara Meyers
Chief Operating Officer
Sara manages administration and operations for NYLAG, including human resources, information technology, and office management. She is responsible for developing and maintaining office-wide systems to track outcomes and improve productivity, works closely with the Finance Department to monitor budgets and reporting, and provides senior management with leadership and guidance, including multi-year strategic planning. Sara also oversees NYLAG’s development team, which is responsible for the organization’s revenue generation.
Most recently, Sara was Assistant Vice President, Institutional Advancement at Hunter College, where she built a leadership team and developed organizational strategies for the Hunter College Foundation (HCF). Before joining Hunter College, Sara served for over ten years at two City of New York agencies. Earlier, she was Assistant Commissioner of the Department of Finance, and an Assistant Commissioner of the Taxi & Limousine Commission.
