Erica is the Senor Coordinating Paralegal of Project Eden & Special Projects in the Matrimonial & Family Law Unit. Erica works with survivors of domestic violence directly and provides attorney support. As a BIA Accredited Representative, Erica represents survivors in their immigration cases including U Visas and VAWA Self Petitions. Erica assists in coordinating Project Eden, a project focused on domestic violence in the Orthodox Jewish community. Erica also provides support on grant writing and administration. Erica started at NYLAG as an Avodah Corps Member, studying anti-oppressive organizing and effective leadership skills for social change. Prior to joining NYLAG, Erica interned at the DC Volunteer Lawyer’s Project. Erica graduated summa cum laude from the George Washington University in 2013 with a degree in Criminal Justice and minor in Journalism & Mass Communication.
