Joseph represents tenants facing eviction in nonpayment, holdover, and repair proceedings in Kings County Housing Court. Joseph also represents tenants in administrative proceedings before NYCHA, HPD, and DHCR. Prior to being a staff attorney, Joseph was part of the inaugural class of Poverty Justice Solutions Fellows, serving a two year fellowship in TRU. Before that, Joseph was among the first Pro Bono Scholars, spending his last semester of law school in NYLAG’s Housing Unit. In law school, Joseph interned with the Comprehensive Rights Unit of South Brooklyn Legal Services and the legal services unit of Gay Men’s Health Crisis. Joseph earned his J.D. at CUNY School of Law, his B.A. from Stony Brook University, and his A.A. from Mount San Antonio College.
