Rogelio is a paralegal in the Tenant’s Rights Unit where he conducts intakes with clients seeking legal assistance with housing issues within the Manhattan area. In addition to conducting intake, he provides support for attorneys in case by case basis. Rogelio also provides translation assistance with Spanish speaking clients.  Prior to joining NYLAG, he served as a Community & Economic Development Intern at Prosperity Now in Washington, DC where he researched and analyzed racial wealth inequality at the national level.  Before that, he did extensive organizing work at his college campus in the hopes to promote the advancement of students of color. Rogelio is a graduate of University of California, Santa Barbara, where he studied Global & International Studies with a minor in English.
