During these unpredictable times, surprising numbers of people find themselves in need of economic and financial support. NYLAG can assist clients with the many legal and financial planning issues that arise.
Through Connect to Care (C2C), a UJA-Federation of New York initiative, NYLAG assists New Yorkers adversely impacted by the economic downturn.
NYLAG is the sole legal service provider for the community-based C2C, located at sites throughout New York City, Westchester, and Long Island. Community sites refer clients directly to NYLAG attorneys for legal services in the areas of foreclosure prevention, consumer law, bankruptcy, unemployment insurance, employment law, and access to public benefits.
Other services offered by C2C sites include employment and career-transition services, supportive counseling, and spiritual care. NYLAG also provides advice and assistance in budgeting and meeting basic financial expenses.
For assistance, call NYLAG’s C2C hotline: 212.613.5005 or email [email protected].
