Medicaid plays a crucial role in providing adequate health care access to seniors and individuals with disabilities. However, it continues to be an uphill battle to secure these benefits. Rebecca Wallach, Director of NYLAG’s Evelyn Frank Legal Resources Program (EFLRP), and Valerie Bogart, Of Counsel, submitted a testimony to the New York State Legislature regarding healthcare and Medicaid issues in the proposed NYS Budget for Fiscal Year 2025.
