Robyn heads NYLAG’s Legal Clinic for Pro Se Litigants in the Southern District of New York.

Robyn counsels pro se litigants in a broad range of matters, including among others, civil rights cases, labor and employment cases, and intellectual property cases, at all phases of the litigation process.  She also collaborates on drafting guides, templates, and fact sheets for pro se litigants, and coordinates with other organizations and members of the private bar to secure limited scope and full representation for pro se litigants.

Prior to joining NYLAG, Robyn was a litigation partner at Paul, Weiss, Rifkin, Wharton & Garrision LLP.  She graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School, where she was an Executive Editor of the Harvard Law Review.  She received her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Yale University, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

Hans Romo
Staff Attorney, NYLAG Legal Clinic for Pro Se Litigants in the Southern District of New York

Hans provides direct limited scope legal assistance to federal pro se litigants in the Southern District of New York in a broad range of practice areas including among others, civil rights, labor and employment, and copyright law.  He also collaborates in the drafting of guides, templates, and fact sheets for pro se litigants while helping coordinate with other organizations and members of the private bar to secure full representation for pro se litigants.

Prior to joining NYLAG, Hans was a public defender in borough of Manhattan. Hans graduated from New York University’s School of Law where he was a member of the Juvenile Defender Clinic, and he interned with the Bronx Defenders, the Legal Aid Society, and New York County Defender Services. Hans is a magna cum laude graduate of Westminster College of Salt Lake City where he interned with the Utah Attorney General’s Office.
