Angela works with low-income tenants facing eviction in Queens County in nonpayment and holdover proceedings. She conducts intakes, advocates for clients who are seeking arrears grants and rent subsidies, provides written and verbal translation, as well as represents tenants in administrative proceedings. Prior to joining NYLAG, Angela worked as an assistant teacher in a special education program in Massachusetts. She received her B.A. in Anthropology and Africana Studies from Bowdoin College.
